Make the most of a short trip back.
A visit back to India is often short and packed — a few weeks to see parents, handle pending paperwork, and catch up on everything that's been on hold. Planning key items in advance makes the trip far less rushed.
Before you travel
- Schedule parents' pending doctor appointments for while you're there
- List out any documents or property matters that need an in-person signature or visit
- Confirm any long-overdue home repairs so a vendor can be booked for your visit window
While you're there
Use the visit to set up (or check on) whatever ongoing arrangement is in place for your parents or property for after you leave — this is usually the most valuable use of limited time, more than trying to personally handle everything during a short trip.
